After the End - Márkó Kis Designs
"Samurais are perfect examples of discipline and sacrifice. The layers of armours and cloth holding together by ropes and cords were perfect inspiration for my work. The silhouette of the warriors were my starting point to come up with a shape that can represent a fresh and modern collection. This collection is inspired by the combination of Japanese martial arts and the culture of Samurai life. I spent a whole unit in Kyoto (Japan). The city and the atmosphere was so inspiring that I had to show it to the world. The reason why I chose martial arts because I am really fascinated about this controlled movements by the human bodyand. It has that musclier vibe but also it is a sign of respect and discipline." - Márkó Kis
